Lauralee E. Martin
President and Chief Executive Officer

Lauralee Martin is President and Chief Executive Officer of HCP, Inc.  Prior to joining HCP in October 2013, Ms. Martin served as the Chief Executive Officer, Americas of Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (NYSE: JLL), one of the world’s leading real estate services and money management firms. Ms. Martin joined Jones Lang LaSalle as Chief Financial Officer in January 2002 and was given expanded responsibilities in 2005 to become Chief Financial Officer and Operating Officer. Additionally, she served on its Board of Directors from 2005 to May 2013. Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, she was Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and President of the Real Estate Finance Division of Heller Financial, Inc. Ms. Martin serves on the Board of ABM Industries Incorporated (NYSE: ABM), a leading provider of building maintenance and facilities solutions, and Kaiser Aluminum Corporation (NYSE: KALU), a leading producer of aluminum products.

Timothy M. Schoen
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Tim Schoen is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He previously served as our Executive Vice President - Life Science and Investment Management. Prior to joining us in 2006, he spent nine years with Kilroy Realty Corporation, a publicly traded real estate investment trust that owned, developed and operated office and industrial buildings, and served most recently as its Vice President, Corporate Finance.

J. Justin Hutchens
Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer - Senior Housing and Care

J. Justin Hutchens became our Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer - Senior Housing and Care in September 2015. Before joining HCP, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of National Health Investors, Inc. (NYSE: NHI) since March 2011 and President and Chief Operating Officer ("COO") since February 2009.  He has national operating experience as the Senior Vice President and COO of Summerville Senior Living from 2003 to 2007 and upon merger, the Executive Vice President and COO of Emeritus Senior Living (NYSE: ESC) from 2007 to 2009.  From 1997 to 2003, Mr. Hutchens held multi-site management roles overseeing marketing and operations in the senior housing and post-acute industries.

Troy E. McHenry
Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Troy McHenry is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. He has been with HCP since 2010, most recently as Senior Vice President – Legal, HR and Assistant Corporate Secretary. Prior to joining HCP, Troy served as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary at MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM). Prior to that, he served as Associate General Counsel at Boyd Gaming Corporation (NYSE: BYD). Troy was also a senior associate with the law firm of DLA Piper (formerly Gray Cary). He graduated from the US Military Academy at West Point, received his JD from the University of Southern California (USC) Gould School of Law, and received his MBT from the USC Marshall School of Business. Troy also served as an officer (First Lieutenant) in the US Army.

Scott A. Anderson
Executive Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer

Scott Anderson is Executive Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. He has been with HCP since 2009, most recently as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. Prior to joining HCP, Scott spent eight years with Apartment Investment Management Company (Aimco), most recently as its Senior Vice President of Financial Risk Management. He has over 25 years of financial and accounting experience. His leadership roles and experience include the oversight of accounting, tax, financial planning and analysis, as well as information technology business functions.

Jonathan M. Bergschneider
Executive Vice President - Life Science Estates

Jon Bergschneider is Executive Vice President - Life Science Estates. From January 2008 through May 2011, he served as our Senior Vice President - Life Science Estates. Jon joined HCP in 2007 as Vice President in conjunction with HCP’s $3.0 billion acquisition of Slough Estates (USA). Previously, he was employed by Slough Estates from 2000 to 2007 during the creation and build-out of that company’s life science portfolio.

Thomas D. Kirby
Executive Vice President - Acquisitions and Valuations

Tom Kirby is Executive Vice President - Acquisitions and Valuations. He previously served as our Senior Vice President - Acquisitions and Valuations. He joined us in 1998 after 20 years with a healthcare oriented national valuations firm.

Thomas M. Klaritch
Executive Vice President - Medical Office Properties

Tom Klaritch is Executive Vice President - Medical Office Properties. From October 2003 through April 2008, he served as our Senior Vice President - Medical Office Properties. Prior to that, he was a founding member and Chief Financial Officer of MedCap Properties LLC, a real estate company located in Nashville, TN that owned, operated and developed real estate in the healthcare field. (HCP acquired MedCap Properties LLC in October 2003.) Tom has over 32 years of operational and financial management experience in the hospital and medical office sectors. He is a certified public accountant.

Darren A. Kowalske
Executive Vice President - Asset Management, Senior Housing and Care

Darren Kowalske is Executive Vice President – Asset Management, Senior Housing and Care. He has been with HCP since 2014, most recently as Senior Vice President – Hospital and Post-Acute. Prior to joining HCP, Darren was a Principal and Managing Director of Capital Insight. Prior to that, he was President and CEO of GE Capital Franchise Finance and served as General Manager Europe for GE Capital Healthcare Finance. Darren also held various leadership roles with GE Capital Real Estate, including Senior Vice President US Ventures and Mexico as well as Managing Director Asia/Pacific. He received his BA in Economics from Princeton University.

John Lu
Executive Vice President - Corporate Finance and Investments

John Lu is Executive Vice President – Corporate Finance and Investments. He has been with HCP since 2006, most recently as Senior Vice President – Financial Planning and Investor Relations, and previously served in various roles in Acquisitions, Investment Management and Life Science. Prior to joining HCP, John spent five years at Merrill Lynch in its investment banking division. He received his BS in Mathematics from Harvey Mudd College and BA in Economics from Claremont McKenna College.

John Stasinos
Executive Vice President - International

John Stasinos is Executive Vice President – International. John has been with HCP since 2003, most recently as Senior Vice President – International. He previously served as Senior Vice President – Acquisitions and Valuations, with a primary focus on international and domestic investments in the Hospital and Post-Acute segments of HCP. Prior to joining HCP, John was an associate with Cornerstone Research. He was a Fulbright Scholar and received BAs in Economics and History, as well as an MBA, from Stanford University.

Kendall K. Young
Executive Vice President - Senior Housing

Kendall Young is Executive Vice President - Senior Housing. Prior to joining us in September of 2010, Kendall was affiliated with Strategic Value Partners in Greenwich, Connecticut, where he was a Managing Director. In his position as Global Head of Asset Management, Kendall was responsible for managing all aspects of a large commercial property portfolio. Before that, he held Managing Director positions with Merrill Lynch and GE Capital Real Estate, where he originated transactions and managed large U.S. and international portfolios of real estate equity and debt investments.
